Guest guest
Hi all, I had a bad reaction to my blood pressure med. I can't see the doctor until Monday, but she took me off the med. I am suppose to monitor my blood pressure until my appointment. If it gets too high, I go to the ER. So, it sounds like a fun weekend, NOT! I hope you all are having some pain free days. Its so hot here, can't do much, were talking three digits for awhile. I would love to see Montana right now:) Have a great day, Tawny
Guest guest
Hi Tawny: I sure hope your dr. can get your blood pressure under control with a med. that you can take. I know you are sick of being sick, and I can't blame you. It seems you take one step forward, then two backwards. I guess that is what happens to most of us. How is your RA doing? Is it easing up some? I hope you have some good strong pain meds. to help you out. It is no fun to suffer day in and day out with pain. It certainly wears us out. I am praying for you to feel better soon. I was so sorry to read your letter today, and that things are not going good for you. I hope you are trying to take things easy, and resting a lot. Hugs, Barbara > > Hi all, > > I had a bad reaction to my blood pressure med. I can't see the doctor until Monday, but she took me off the med. Guest guest
Aw, (((((Tawny))))). I am so sorry to hear you had a reaction to your BP med. You were doing so well! Praying your BP stays low enough until you can get in to see your doctor on Monday without having a trip to the ER in the interim. Relax and don't do anything stressful nor exert yourself in any way. Take care, be blessed.....Doreen Hi all, I had a bad reaction to my blood pressure med. I can't see the doctor until Monday, but she took me off the med. Guest guest
Thanks Barbara, I feel much better, since stopping the blood pressure med. Oh, I was so bad off, girl. I hope to find a good bp med, without the awful side efects. It worked really well, my bp was really down, but you know how it goes. My RA is calmed down for awhile. I didn't take my humira this week, so I've had some pain this weekend. I have a dobie, and he plays rough, he bit me, and it got infected. It's better, so I'll take it next week. The RA and Fibro is under control, it's just unbelieveable. I don't like to bost, cause usually all the pain comes back. I do take Lortab, when I need it. I'm so thankful to have a wonderful rheumy, she really takes care of me. How are you? Are you getting around better, without pain? I have been praying for you, and I hope you get some relief, and able to get out, and enjoy yourself. Take care my friend, Tawny > > > Hi Tawny: I sure hope your dr. can get your blood pressure under > control with a med. that you can take. I know you are sick of being > sick, and I can't blame you. Guest guest
Doreen, I am feeling so much better, since stopping the bp med. I couldn't even stand, I was dizzy all the time. I was having fast heart rate, also disoriented, so not good I'm taking it easy this weekend. I hope the doctor can find a good med. The other bp med, caused edema in my legs. I get tired of meds. But, we need them. How are you feeling? I hope you have a nice weekend, and your pain eases. I know how you feel, so just know your not alone. Hugs, Tawny > > Aw, (((((Tawny))))). Guest guest
Hi Tawny: I am happy you are feeling so much better. It is good the Biologic is helping you finally. It has been such a long haul for you to get some much due relief from your pain and suffering. Thankfully, there is always something new for us to try. The search goes on and on to find that " perfect cocktail " of meds. to get us all pain free. Like you, I have a wonderful Rheumy. She takes such great care of me. Have you been able to try another BP medicine? If so, how is that working out for you? I know there is a lot of diff. ones out there. I hope you find the best one for you and it agrees with you. I am doing really great. My knee is totally healed, and I am walking without any cane or walker. My knee/leg is very strong. I now have 2 good legs under me. I do my knee exercises daily in the pool. I sometimes do them 2x a day, whenever I hit the pool again. I am feeling so much more peaceful since we moved into our new home. I love living here with my son and family. We are 3 generations living here, and enjoying life. I know without my son being with me, and being my rock going through what I went through, I would not be alive today. I am slowly healing, but I do have some sad days. I am sad to see my 29 year marriage go down the drain, but I tried very hard to save it. I could not save it alone. I miss the man I married, but he is not the same person I fell in love with. It is so sad Tawny. He has gone back to that wh* & e, and she will take him to the cleaners, both financially and emotionally. My mother always told me some old men get very foolish in their old age. He can't see that he is 66, and she is early 40's. She preys on old men. She just " loves " them. Right....... Like I do with my RA, I just take one day at a time. Much easier on me that way. I will be glad when I get into court. He has not given me any $$$$ since Dec. First the support issue, then the divorce. I will be 70 in Jan. What a time to be going through all this. I never saw this coming!!!! Today is hot and humid, so off to the pool for a swim, etc. I am glad we have it. I am a true " water girl " . Take care of yourself, and talk soon. I hope each day you feel better and better, and that all your pain is gone for good. Guest guest
Tawny, I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better. I pray they can give you the right BP meds to help you feel better. I take Dyazide for mine and have never had any troubles with it. As for my health, I'm in a crappy stage right now. I went for my bloodwork this past Thursday (I was 3 months overdue) and I hope to have some answers early this week. I didn't take my Enbrel shot on Thursday - I'm going to wait to see what the bloodwork shows. I've been having a horrible time with severe nausea and pain on my right side into my shoulder and across my collar bones. It will wake me up from a dead sleep. I don't know if it has anything to do with the ventral hernia I have or the Enbrel or if there is something else going on altogether. I have had a lot of ringing in my ears (more than usual) and pain that radiates down into my throat. I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow and see if she'll see me. I'm a mess as usual. Frustrated that I don't ever seem to feel good anymore. I don't know if I'm expecting too much or what, but its getting old. Thanks for asking. You are so sweet.....Doreen > Doreen, > > I am feeling so much better, since stopping the bp med. I couldn't > even stand, I was dizzy all the time. Guest guest
Doreen, It's time for you to catch a break. Finally, getting the Enbrel, I thought you would feel better, sorry. I hope your blood work comes back OK, you don't need anything else. You might be having problems with the Enbrel, hope the doctor can give you some answers. It seems like its always something, huh? I'm really worried about you. I hope the doctor can find me a med that helps. Do you take a water pill too? The Benicar,(the one that made me ill), was bp and water pill in one. It was very expensive, now I have a bunch of pills, and can't use them. What a waste. You take care, and let me know about your lab work. Are you going to see your doctor too? Gentle hugs, Tawny > > Tawny, I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better. I pray they can give you the right BP meds to help you feel better. Guest guest
Barbara, So glad to hear your walking on two legs! It's so great to hear success stories, you will help so many other people thinking about knee surgery. It sounds like your a water girl, lol I'm glad your with your family, your right where you belong. God has a reason for everything. I'm sorry you lost your marriage though, after all those years. You just never know though. Nothing is forever though, and it can happen to any of us. We just have to somehow move on, and start all over again. I must say, its kind of hard after all those long years with the same person. I feel sorry for your ex, he will one day wake up, and be alone. He can only blame his self. You are having fun with your family, and he will be miserable. What comes around, goes around as they say. Keep your head up girl, you have a new life to move on each day. It will get a little easier, it will just take time. Just remember, you have so many friends here to support you through anything. I see my doctor tomorrow, and we'll see what kind of bp med she gives me. Take care my friend, Tawny > > > Hi Tawny: > > I am happy you are feeling so much better.
