Guest guest
Lori, My MIL takes it for her Fibro and it has given her her life back. It is not a narcotic so I would think the chances of it becoming addictive are slim but I would talk to your pharmacist, ©x© Kami ©x© [ ] Ultram ER Does anybody take Ultram ER? My doctor gave me some to try but I haven't been able to yet. Is it addictive? Guest guest
They didn't do anything for me either way. I even overdosed just for some relief, but still nothing happened. I'm sure it works for others, but not me. Dennis in eastexas On Thu, Feb 12, 2009 at 2:46 PM, Stitching Queen <queenstitcher@...>wrote: > Does anybody take Ultram ER? Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for replying. I'm going to give it a try. I had to wait to see if I would be started on a different GI drug, because they have interactions, but since I won't be, I'm OK to give it a go. I'll be curious to see if it will work. Guest guest
They prescribe Ultram frequently for Fibromyalgia as we almost always need something for pain and they don't like to give us something too addictive. From my understanding, it works like an opiod on the brain, yet is not, and is not supposed to be addictive. I've found the Ultram ER is much better than the regular Ultram or tramadol as it stays in the system longer. I've not used mine in quite some time. Back in October, I began slowly walking on my treadmill every day for 20 minutes and increasing it to an hour. Now I am able to walk every day for miles and have remained pain free and lost quite a bit of weight. I " ve my fingers crossed this " remission " lasts:) From: Dennis W <betnden@...> Subject: Re: [ ] Ultram ER Date: Thursday, February 12, 2009, 4:12 PM They didn't do anything for me either way. Guest guest
Hi : Is the Ultram long lasting? I have Tramodol but it does nothing for me for pain, etc. Even if I take 2 at a time. I have been successful with 2 Tylenol w/codeine every 4-5 hours. I am having bad trouble with my good left knee. Had it x-rayed and it is loaded with O. A. I can hardly walk on it. I guess I will make an appt. with my Orthopedic dr. to see how bad it really is. My right knee replacement is just so perfect, never any pain etc. If need be, I will have the left knee totally replaced, as I am in great pain all the time. This knee was always so good, never had any pain in it until 4 weeks ago. I am so happy you are still walking, losing weight, and all that good stuff. Also thrilled that your U.R.I.'s have stopped. You so deserve this break from all your past suffering. God Bless you, and wishing you many more pain free days. Guest guest
Hi, . It's nice to hear from you. I'm glad you're feeling somewhat better. Ultram (tramadol) is a synthetic opioid. Guest guest
sounds like a good idea! So glad you are getting relief ffrom it. It will take time to adjust to the Ultram and the sleepiness should ease up. remember it also takes a good three days taking it to get a good level of pain relief. ________________________________ From: echotoy2003 <dknde@...> spinal problems Sent: Monday, June 15, 2009 4:17:10 PM Subject: Ultram ER I'm on this about 6 days now. Guest guest
I never could get any relief from it. I tried every dose made. I did get some at first with the low dose, but then it was short lived. The 200mg and the 300mg er never phased me at all. Bama, george " He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
