Date: Thursday, December 23, 2010, 10:30 AM  , good news! Rheumy says it's not lupus, RA, or any other autoimmune disorders at this point. YAY! they did a t-spine series and drew a ton of blood. Chas said she asked the phlebotomist, " Are you sure you're allowed to take that much blood out of me? " jokingly of course. the tech loved it. she goes back in january for followup. her back is still hurting but the fatigue is a little better. thanks for the good thoughts and wishes, and a happy Christmas to you and yours. jane > > Thanks so much for the words of encouragement. i copied that post and passed it on to her at work, highlighting the really positive parts. > > her being the baby makes it harder on all of us.  she was enjoying a tacky Christmas sweater party at her office this afternoon. I had found a pretty over-the-top one at a thrift store for her a couple of weeks ago. can't wait to see pics of the party. > > thanks again > > jane >
Guest guest
Hi Jane. The power of prayer can not be denied. It was such a miracle for your daughter to not have any of those diseases. The relief she must have felt with such good news. When my daughter was 8 years old, she was very sick. She was a fragile little girl to begin with. Her pediatrician had me take her to Childrens's Hosptal in Boston as he knew she was very sick, but didn;t know with what. Something was wrong with her blood etc. In the interim, a good friend of my mothers was going to Lourdes, France with her parrish. She had prayers said for my daughter, and brought her back some Holy water from Lourdes, and a blessed rosary beads. We had her appt. in Boston, all the doctors went over her with a fine tooth comb, all the tests were redone, etc. The head Dr, said " Your daughter was a very sick little girl, but now she is perfect, and no signs of any illness of any kind " . It was really a miracle!!! I thought my daughter would die with a rare cancer in her blood. To get a good bill of health was pure joy. So I do know how you felt with such good results for your daughter. I also want to thank you for your very kind words for me. I have said so many times how much everyone here means to me. I just try to help any small way I can. From day one here, everyone made me feel so welcome. With everything I have gone through this past 2 years, I have been given love, support and kindness here. That has meant the world to me. It has helped me move on to my new life at 70. I never thought I would have to do that at my age!!!! I hope you and your family have the merriest Christmas ever. Thanks again for your nice letter. Hugs, Barbara From: jane <janeatregis@...> Subject: [ ] Re: scared. JANE Date: Thursday, December 23, 2010, 12:28 PM  This was such a tremendous answer to prayer, Barbara. She works for a missions organization so we had lots of friends praying for her. She called me when I was at Toys R Us shopping for the great nieces and nephews. there i was in Toys R Us crying and praising God! I told my bff girlfriends that I got the holy ghost in the Barbie aisle. Barbara, you always such a positive, encouraging presence to our RA family. I don't know if we tell you often enough but you are truly a blessing.
