Hi OKD:  Nice to see your post today.  I hope your recovery gets better and

better each day.  I am also glad you took the Pred.  That is my miracle

drug.  It will be good when you are on your usual RA meds, and hopefully be

pain free.

Hi group:

happy holidays, belatedly.

Just getting over Bartholin Gland Removal surgery, very hard recovery, because

many many stitches and I feel quite lousy. Had one week off from work. They made

me stop my enbrel for 2 weeks prior and now 2 weeks after, and I was feeling

groovy after reluctantly giving in to prednisone and taking it....now I am

worried cant take it for another week (they let me keep taking the MTX though)

and I am feeling the RA Devil creep into my bones, knees, joints....

I hope it wont be another 6 months until I get the RA back under control again.

On another note, to the stitching queens husband, I am so sorry for your loss,

you really felt a sense of who she was as a person reading her emails. Some of

us dont post often or alot, but I do read them all.....please take comfort in

knowing that we are spirits having a human experience and not the other way

around, and that spirit never dies, she will always be with you and her

family.....

So sorry to hear about your surgery and difficult recovery, OKD.

I hope you can get your RA under control very soon.
