Guest guest
I recently changed med ins from cigna to kaiser. Now kaiser is trying to screw me up. I have being seeing this one rheumatoligist who has been great understands me, well I am suppose to have my orencia tomorrow and kaiser denied my referral. I called the provider services haha what a joke. I have put in an appeal because this is a great health issue. I'm suppose to have an answer tomorrow. they want me to see an inhouse rheumy after getting close to this one who has gotten to know me and has spent a great deal of time with me working with me and seeing my progress and Im angry pissed off and all sorts of crazy. The worst part of it all is I would have to travel through crazy traffic to get there and in order to even get to the appointments would have to take off work, my current rheumy on tuesday nights stays open late for those who can't make it during the day, she is great and I don't want to leave but in order to stay would have to pay full price for the orencia plus $200 for a visit. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the current rheumy I have instead of changing to a new one and fighting all kinds of craziness??? from maryland
Guest guest
, I am so sorry you are having problems with Kaiser. I have been with KAISER in Calif all my life and to this date I have not have any issues with my Rheumy or meds. I know that any issues with our health causes alot of pain and in not good for us. I suggest you stay CALM and try to speak with a customer service manager and make sure you put your request in black & white this does work. Again, stay calm and proceed as needed always remember we have a long way to go in fighting for our medical meds. Mousie in Calif
