swelling joints

I have to say that I've never had visual swelling of my joints. They feel

swollen to me, but on the outside they look OK.

When I first when to my Rheumy, he told me that I probably didn't have RA

because there was no swelling yada yada yada...

Then the tests came back, and well, he was rather surprised.

Since other folks present with no swelling, I too find it interesting that some

Rheumy's don't say that swelling or nodules are not a necessary sign for

diagnosis...

Or, perhaps we're the few and far between?

Anyway, here's to a pain free, or as pain free as possible day to one and all.

Hi J.J.L.

I know the feeling. I right now have pain in my feet and ankles & have no

swelling, but my SED Rate is high so my Rheumy understands.
