Guest guest
Hi , Congratulations on your pregnancy! I was diagnosed with what is probably a subseptate uterus at 6 weeks of pregnancy; I'm 25 weeks now and all is well. There are women on the board who had babies with fully or partially septated uteri. As many others will tell you here, it is not really possible to diagnose exactly what kind of an MA you have by U/S in pregnancy. It seems that it is particularly difficult to distinguish between a septum and a bicornuate uterus; full diagnosis will have to wait until after your pregnancy. The fact that you have made it to the second trimester is a really good sign and it sounds like you will be closely monitored by your care providers which is good. I'm not sure about the issue of placental abruption. I'm sure someone else here will be able to provide you with some information. Hang on in there! Judith > HI I am a new member.
