Guest guest
Maybe it should be your decision whether or not to continue seeing the doctor who you obviously disagree with. Your D3 might not be a good brand for you and taking more doesn't seem to be the answer. Switch brands or take a good brand of natural cod liver oil instead. Sit in the sun more. > > Went to the dr last week and got the results of my tests. After taking 2500 > IU of D3 for 2 years, my level is down from 140 to 110. Guest guest
It's Carlsons . I think they are supposedly one of the best. As for changing doctors, there is no changing them here. I'm actually lucky to have one. And it's better than standing in line for hours at one of the walkin clinics to see a dr you'll probably not get again. Guest guest
So much for those ideas! Carlson's is supposed to be good. There might be a reason that you aren't assimilating the vitamin as well as you should. It's odd that you tested lower than you did before you started taking them. There's always something isn't there? America is going to have socialized medicine in the next few years. I can wait! > > It's Carlsons . I think they are supposedly one of the best. Guest guest
This is not so different from the situation currently in the US, even with our " non-socialized " medicine. I can't find a neurologist in my town that I like and I'm in a medium sized city. There is one left that I'd like to go see, but she chooses not to see MS patients, preferring to see sports injuries. There's a neurologist about 25 miles away that I'd like to try, but he doesn't want to take out of town patients. My general practictioner belongs to a large practice. At least half the time that I call, he's not working or is booked up, so I have a choice of waiting until he has an open appointment or seeing another doctor in the practice, usually for the first time. I'm positive the situation is much worse in more rural parts of Oregon. People who have to travel 50 miles for their gas and groceries don't tend to have much choice in their physicians either. In the meatime, we restrict the number of people who can attend medical school. And this is before we get into what insurance companies will or will not authorize or trying to find affordable health insurance when one is older and has a pre-existing condition. I think I'm lucky to not have (or need) a neurologist at all. I mean, really, what *do* they have to offer? Crystal
