Hello all

I am a new member. I am trying to know more about ankle replacement and ankle

surgery. I had RA since I was 4 and now I am 29. RA has damaged lots of my

joints. I really have trouble in walking specially with my right ankle. I take

Sulfasalazine (4tables a day) and Prednisone (1 tablet a day,5 MG ) and

Azathioprine 50 MG (2 tablets in even days,1 table in odd days). Do you have any

suggestion in medication? my RA is still active and it is going to make more

damages in my joints.

I am looking for a Dr. who I can trust him/her because I really need to have a

joint replacement but I am not sure about the result. I kind of afraid of the

result.

I live in Chicago. I need more info about the risk of this surgery or joint

replacement in ankle.

Did anyone have this surgery or ankle joint replacement before? Are you satisfy

with the result? Please help me with your great ideas if you can.
