Guest guest
I too have TMJ and had braces to reshape the pattern of my jaw. I haven't had any problems with that since getting the braces, and that was almost 9 years ago. That's one of the reasons that I went to the dentist initially, to make sure that wasn't my issue. But since seeing the dentist yesterday, the other side of my jaw is now starting to hurt. So, I'm calling the rheumatologist tomorrow to see about using my emergency stash of steroids. I don't want this getting out of control. I just got over a 3 month flare, LOL! But this jaw pain is the worst. It's hard to talk, and forget about chewing. My shoulders and neck are also hurting too. I hope that you fee better soon Abby!
