Robin,  I too am a labor and delivery RN.  Actually, now I am a manager for

L & D.  However, for several years before I was diagnosed with RA I had such

terrible pain in my feet attributing it to the many hours on my feet on the

unit.  Then I started having hand pain and was diagnosed with tennis elbow (for

hand pain).  After I became a manager, I had worsening joint issues and

eventually my family care doc did a ra screen.  Guess what!  All my foot,

knee, shoulder and hand pain was RA all along.  I work 50 plus hours a week, I

don't do direct patient care but i am on the unit all the time, traveling, etc.

I hope you find the perfect medication so you can continue your wonderful work.

Dale Ellen
