Guest guest
Hi Everyone. I have been doing a lot of research for the past several weeks. I have Fibro, Chronic Fatigue syndrome, IBS, Asthma, Celiac Disease, Lupus and just recently was diagnosed with RA. WOW! But hey, I'm in pretty good shape for the shape i'm in. LOL. I remember constantly hurting since the age of 8. Doing my research on the Celiac, which for those of you have not heard about it. That is an allergy or intolerance to Gluten in almost all the foods we eat. Wheat, barley, oats, breads, etc. Anyway, making this a long story into short. Taking out the nighshade vegetables which are Potatoes, Tomatoes, Eggplant and all Peppers. They cause inflamation and pain in our joints. Take these out of your diet and you will feel some relief. I did, been 3 weeks out now, Joints do not hurt as much. Plus with eleminating the gluten has helped with my IBS problems. So far the fatigue is still with me. I am even noticing a difference in my breathing. Now something else of interest. These plants also have traces of nicotine. For those of you who are trying to quit smoking this might help. Guest guest
Hi Vicky: You sure do have a full plate! It sounds like you are handeling things good. I know some people who have Celiac and once diagnosed, they correct their diets, and are doing so much better. I hope your pain and tiredness lessens for you. I know you need to rest as often as you can. Sometimes that is a challenge. Wishing you pain free days ahead. Take care of yourself.
