Guest guest
A couple of weeks ago, someone posted an article by a doctor regarding low thyroid hormones. I read it more than once. I printed a copy out. I looked through the symptoms and decided to highlight the ones that I suffer from. All but 2 were highlighted but every time my thyroid is checked it comes out normal. I faxed the article to my doctor to read. Well, I couldn't turn my head friday so I went to see him. I asked him about it. He said that he read it thoroughly and thought that the suggestion to go on a low dose trial of thyroid hormone was a great idea. So he wrote out a prescription. Needless to say, more drugs to add to my stash but at least he was open to it. So thank you to whomever posted that article. It helped me immensly. I am looking forward to seeing if a difference is made. Thank you all so much for all your postings. They have helped more than words can say. When you live in a rural town with an obscure condition like FMS, your midset feels like you will never find a doctor to help you with it. My GP has been pretty good but you all have been great! Thanks from the depths of my being. Jayne
