Guest guest
CYNTHIA!!! I had what was termed by doctors " growing pains " from age 14!!!! That is the EXACT TERM they used! They could not figure out what was wrong with me! *~ Kami ~* [ ] How about Mononucleosis as an Adult? I didn't have Mono as a child. I had Mono at 38. Apparently the older you are the harder Mono will hit you. I think I sleep for two months. Walking to the bathroom was the most I could do for about 3 months. Having Mono as an adult is fairly rarely, most people have been exposed as a child or teen. I don't think that Mono set off my RA, I grew up having 'growing pains', and before the Mono I was having trouble with my feet and hands. I also have two parents and a slew of family with RA or other auto-immune disease, so the genetics are there. I do think that the Mono may have been a factor in the increase in the activity of the RA. I was dx'ed with RA two years later.
