Guest guest
There are many studies that show the benefits of acupuncture and alternative medicine/therapy to help with RA and other auto immune/chronic pain conditions. I started acupuncture over a year ago and it has done me a world of good for improving my quality of life. I will say this. I was on methoxtrate when I started the treatment and I did have problems with major fatigue to the point where I would sleep most of the weekend away after getting acupuncture on the days I took the meds. After I stopped the methoxtrate I improved and the issues resolved itself. Not every acupuncturist is the same. It is a bit like finding the right fit for a doctor or a therapist. That particular person may not be the right fit for you. I wouldn't give up on it all together. A good professional should be able to take into account your medications and need for them in addition to treatment. I'm not saying that you are wrong in your experience or that acupuncture is the answer to everything just to continue to keep an open mind. Good luck! ~ Graves [ ] Re: Acupuncture I tried this once, I came out worst then I went in. I came out with a pounding headache and flush all over. She said my Chi " was stuck and my body was poisoned by all my Meds. All I know is I felt awful afterwords. Ve
