Joy, hello I also take Humira every 7-10 days. Doctor put me on 3cc

of MTX I have not started it yet. I am taking the folic acid for 1

week first, not sure if this will help. I will try it at night.

I was taking double that last spring and was very ill, tired etc.

So we will see what this does. He also wants me tothink about

Rituxin, scares me so I am not sure about that. That would be in

place of Humira.

Where in Ohio do you live? I am in Edinboro PA just south of Erie.

Thanks for caring. Sandy

causing you nausea. This is the reason that my dr changed me from

oral to injectable (8 years ago) and it definitely helped with my

tolerating it. As the dose was increased (up to the 25 mg max), my

nausea returned.

> I'm now reduced to 17.5 mg/wk because I take Humira also. MTX

dosage reduction definitely helps nausea. I too inject it before

bedtime as it is very helpful this way. Then I take the Leucovorin

10 hours later (to prevent the mouth sores). Besides nausea, I've

felt that MTX causes a slight headache also. Thus, the bedtime

injection works best.
