Guest guest
I just went back to the dermatologist that recently diagnosed me with the rosacea. I asked her about using oral antibiotics for the rosacea. She said that they probably wouldn't help me that much because I don't have pimples. She said that the oral antibiotics are mainly for the pimples not the redness and flushing. All she suggested was to try the Noritate because she said it should help the flushing/redness. Does anyone know if this sounds right? I am thinking of getting another dermatologist, because it doesn't seem like this one wants to work with me. I am very discouraged because I want to find something that helps. This rosacea is hurting my self esteem. I also was at CVS the other night and looked for zinc oxide. The closest that I could find to plain zinc oxide was zinc oxide ointment, which did have other ingredients in it. Does anyone know if they make plain zinc oxide and where I would find that? I know that they used to use it as a sunblock, so it must be available somewhere. Thanks, everyone have a nice holiday! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ E-group home: http://www.eGroups.com/list/rosacea-support
