Guest guest
Yes I know what you mean I sometimes have that problem too Eva Does anyone ever have the problem of deciding what to eat? I've read that if you wait long enough you'll will be able to tell but when I'm starving I can hardly think. ha! ------------------------------------

Guest guest
When I initially tried to do this I made the mistake of thinking that it would be a 'specific' choice (only). What I came to find worked for me was to think of a variety of options - fruit, cheese, piece of luncheon meat or even candy too! Most of the time one of those would be more appealing than the others so I would go with that one. If NONE of them were of interest to me, then odds were that I probably wasn't really really really hungry for body fuel, more like I was needing to 'chew' on something else. I also found that if I waited too long and got too hungry, I would overeat for sure! And while food tastes great when one is hungry, being overly hungry I would EAT fast and without being as selective or mindful. Guest guest
Katcha I also find the same thing applies to me when Iget overly hungry that I go back to my habbit of eating fast. I have not tried the idea of giving myself several options and then If I can't decide then I am not really hungry thanks for the idea. Guest guest
When I'm starving and I don't get a sense of what I really want...I sometimes take the edge off with a small snack like fruit or nuts or cheese and wait for inspiration. Earlier this year, I was driving myself crazy sometimes trying to figure out what I "really" wanted. I've learned that usually when I'm starving any filling/satisfying meal will do. Sometimes, I figure out what I definitely don't want to eat and eat something that doesn't fall on that list.L:)
Guest guest
I used to struggle with trying to figure out what I wanted to eat. I think it was partially beacuse I still wasn't fully in tune with my body and what it needed. I find that keeping a variety of foods helps but then I have the opposite problem where I'm either throwing out food because it has gone bad or I'm trying to eat it up so it doesn't go bad. If I don't have enough food around then my son complains that there isn't any food to eat. It is a difficult balance to find. Just keep practicing and trying different things and one day it will be easier to decipher what it is you/your body wants/needs. > > Does anyone ever have the problem of deciding what to eat? I usually go through the items I have at home already and try to decide if something is appealing at the moment. If not I try to imagine foods I could easily get at the grocery store (if it's open) and if I can't find something that is appealing I simply go for " something healthy " . Regards s.
