the preferred method is iv infusion ...there is high incidence of allergic rx.so

test dose is necessary

I am really surprised that you have not been given intermuscular iron with a

needle.  That is what it took for me to get better.  I had lost a lot of blood

in surgury.  It was before RA.

So far at one week and still holding @ hgb of 8.4....Hope this can be

maintained.? Maybe the unit of iron per week is helping.

I? see the oncologist tomorrow.....keep fingers crossed!!!!!
