Guest guest
My friend saw a poster the other day titled " DIETS ARE MEAN! " . As she is a fellow IE-er, she was encouraged and looked closer.... in the background of the poster was a picture of a WW meeting. IT was an ad for WW!!!! By Dr. May If it's not a diet, then why do they tell you how many points you can eat each day? If it's not a diet, then why do you have to earn the right to eat more by exercising? If it's not a diet, then why do you have to be weighed in? If it's not a diet, then how come vegetables are " free " instead of just good for you? If it's not a diet, then why is everybody on it talking about food ALL the time? If it's not a diet, then why do you have to weigh, measure and write down your food? (unless of course you choose their " Core " plan - then you can eat as much as you want of the foods they say are allowed). I can't eat that... I'm on a " lifestyle " . http://consumed.freedomblogging.com/2008/01/03/weight-watchers-not-a-diet-what/ *Folks... raise your hand if you are SO glad you don't have to count points anymore!!!!! Guest guest
Both my hands are in the air!!!! I hate those WW ads...they are totally a diet but i'm sure they've sucked a lot of people in with their "no diet" campaign.
