Guest guest
hi lisa, and welcome here! Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Love is the most amazing thing, huh! Keep in touch, sheila artisticdltv <vasslt@...> wrote:Hi everybody, I just joined yesterday, and boy am I impressed with the information and experience you all share. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 5 Years ago while living in London (I came back last year after living in Europe for 12 years). I was on thyroxine, and two drugs for high blood pressure, but then met my fiance', who is heavy into alternative medicine and healing,( We are both very spiritual) saw a doctor who is also a naturopath and healer, and my health life changed profoundly for the better. Thanks for being there, and for sharing so much. The owner of my local healthfood store also has thyroid problems, she and my Dr. have been great, but I have taken notes on a lot of your reccomendations. I lived in Germany and England, have moved (for now ) to Rainbow Texas, have a 22 year old daughter still in London who is an opera singer, and a 12 year old boy who has a learning disability, semantic/pragmatic syndrome. I am marrying the love of my life sometime in the next few months, (his son in uni in NC, hard wedding to organise), so life and health can begin at 50. Look forward to talking to all of you, thanks again for being out there.

Guest guest
Nan, You know what they say, " once you know how to ride a bike, you never forget " . Of course that begs the question, " Why is it that after just a few days after surgery you stand up to walk and have kind of forgotten the way to make a step? " ...it's very strange. Did you find a car with a comfy seat? I think " yes " to a library...we will just have to find a way to do it. Take Care, Cam
Guest guest
Hi Nan, I am sorry that your fingers are keeping you from typing much. Hopefully you will have a successful appointment with Dr b and Your hip specialist...we all will be anxious to hear how your appointments go. Do you have definite surgery dats for May? If you do I missed getting them on the Calender...can you tell me again? Thanks and good luck to you, Cam
