Dodge,

It sounds like you're having a terrible time of it. You have to lay off the leg.

Short trips through the house, maybe out to the mail box.

As far as not wanting to ask for help or be a burden...sometimes we all need as

little help to get by. Look how many people have had to ask for your help

through your profession as a Medic. No one likes to be a burden, but there is a

line between needing help and a being a burden. Pain meds will help but only if

you ask for enough to get you through this rough patch after the surgery (I'm

the pot calling the kettle black as my sister had to tell me the same thing).

How your upcoming days are less painful!

HI Dodge:

I have been thinking about you, and all the pain you have been in. I

hope your pain is easing up a bit. Like you, I need strong pain meds.

as I have a high pain tolerance level.

For some reason, my good knee is so painful, that I can hardly walk.

Saw my Rheumy yesterday, and got a cortisone shot again for the knee

pain. She also gave me 2 types of pain pills to use each day. I am

hoping it will settle down. My RA is quite, and I am thankful for that.

Wishing you pain free days ahead. Try to stay off that leg as much as

you can. It will help you.

Hugs,

Barbara
