I take Oxycodone and it works wonderfully for me.  Trammadol did nothing for

me. Hope this helps.

Wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year......be safe!

Just wanted to get an idea what everyone is taking for pain

meds..especially for those who took Darvocet and now need to get another

medication. I

see my rheumy on the 13th and want to " suggest " something that I know will

work as darvocet did for me. I was given 50 mg of ultram but it doesn't

work as well as the darvocet for me.

I also take Lortab. Tramadol (Ultracet) did help with pain but gave me bad

side effects so my doctor switched me. I have been on Lortab (or hydrocodone

when I was in Europe) for 6 years now with no problems.

I take 5/500 and that has been steady. At that dose, I am still able to live a

normal life (no sleepiness) and my pain level is at a level I don't normal

notice. When I do have some more problems like recently, I get an injection.

There is also a dose of 10/500 and I am not sure if there are any higher. THe

small number refers to the hydrocodone and the large number to acetaminophen.
