Hi everyone,

Since I was first diagnosed with RA in 1991/92, I have continually searched for

answers as to why and how I came to have this disease.

I am starting to think it has something to do with watermelon. I

remember when I was pregnant with my first son, I could have ate a

small watermelon a day. I thought watermelon was healthy and good

nutrition for me so I did eat a lot of it.

As of last week, I had my last piece of watermelon. Why? Well, it

finally occured to me that every time I have a piece of watermelon,

either later that day or the following day I have a painful flare.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to figure it out.

I did some research about watermelon, and found that is contains a

significant amount of Citrulline. I was amazed at what I read although I still

don't fully understand how we can use this information to find a cure, but I

believe I have stumbled on to something. I am going to post another message

with what I have read about Citrulline, and am very interested in what all of

you think.

My new post will follow in about an hour.

Take care everyone.
