Guest guest
I developed tolerance to Ultram so my Rheumy gave me a prescrip for Daypro (oxaprozin) to replace the Ultram. The pharmacy only had 6 Daypro tablets left and gave me a partial fill with those six. Today was when I was told to pick up the balance of the prescrip which I badly need. They dropped a bomb on me! Told me that I and my husband (on Daypro for severe lower back pain) are among some 200+ customers that cannot get their prescrips for it filled. Told me that they are out and have called all of their suppliers and that " no one anywhere has Daypro and we don't know when we will be able to get it " . What in the H__l are we supposed to do now? The pharmacy told me they have called my Drs office but they know he hasn't returned the call about it as he has not changed my prescrip to something else yet. I realize that i need to call my dr and my husbands pain dr and will be doing that tomorrow morning. I haven't been reading the FDA stuff that has been posted on here and I really did try to search for anything about Daypro on here but I can't find anything referencing it's current rarity. Does anyone have any idea of what is going on?
