hip pain and help/understanding

, horrible hip pain was one of the first symptoms that hit me. A deep

ache that just was so painful I would lie with a heating pad for hours crying.

I take Humira, Methtrexolate, Lyrica, and Norco for pain and mostly am pretty

functional now as long as I keep within my limits.

Norma Iris this group is one that will understand your pain and frustration. It

is one where it is ok to just vent as well as listen and support others. I am

so sorry you have to suffer this way, and really understand that it is not

something you are exaggerating.

My hip story is kind of humorous. I had no idea it was my hips.

When my pain started it was in 1 knee and it quickly got so bad I could barely

walk. Woke up 1 morning and when I stepped on my foot OH THE PAIN! I fell flat

on my face.

Got crutches.

3 days later it was in both feet, ankles, knees, shoulders, wrists, and 4

fingers, butt, and thighs. THAT was NOT a good morning!!!!!!!!

Anyways... When I had my 1st appt with the rheumy we were going over all the bad

spots and when I said my butt and thighs hurt he kind of chuckled and said " no

that's your hips " . I said nope, I know when my butt hurts and it throbs!

He moved my leg to the side and turned it slightly and all the thigh and butt

pain shot into my hip and stayed there until he straightened it again. Hahaha

Couldve swore I had butt arthritis. Glad I amused him a bit.
