here is something I wrote earlier this morning before the Fibro

Monster could steal it from my remember-er... hahaha....

I was driving to work and saw something really pretty that I wanted

to share with you. There is an endangered wetland near where I live,

that Ducks Unlimited or Ducks Inc. whichever has reclaimed. Which is

think is a hilarious name anyway; I picture corporate executive ducks

in serious black glasses and diamond merchant black suits behind a

desk when i hear that....but i digress.

Anyway, it's a very pretty area that offshoots the Trinity River,

with lily pads and stuff. There is a little branch that runs close to

the farm market road I drive. The sun is usually coming up when I

leave for work in the mornings. I always check to see what God has

painted the river with when I pass by. One morning I almost had to

pull over.

The sun was like a ball of fire still low over the gray horizon. It

reflected in that little branch like a silver mirror, beams of red

and orange and silver all the way back to the river, like a pathway

going up to the heavens. And on the shoreline, there was still a bit

of mist hanging in the trees, and magic in the air. And in that

moment, it looked like anything was possible- like Lancelot could

come riding out of the woods, armor flashing, on a white charger, or

a dragon could fly over, with the sunrise reflecting on his wings. A

new day, full of new mercies, new possibilities, and a pocketful of

potential miracles.

May the Happy Friday Fairy sprinkle lots of pixie dust on your day!

Much love to all in the group and God bless you REAL GOOD!
