Guest guest
Does anyone know what the government plans on replacing these 2 drugs with for those of us that can not take aspirin based pain relievers? I rarely have to take anything for pain BUT for those few times I do, a partial percocet is ALL that I CAN take! ltdavis_jrdavis@... > Sue, > > Maybe they'll try to work this news into the storyline. >
Guest guest
Hi - from what I read on drugs.com, the only problem seems to be that at this time there is no med that is straight hydrocodone - they claim to have an extended release version of it in the works. There are already meds out there that are straight oxycodone, so for those that take percocet, etc., there shouldn't be a problem in changing meds. I've always been one to read labels - especially active ingredients - and I can see how it would be easy for people to overdose on the acetaminophen (Tylenol). I would also be willing to take two separate medications if my doctor recommended it rather than just one combo med. IMHO - less chance for overdose and only taking what is really needed. Hope this babble helped.....Doreen Does anyone know what the government plans on replacing these 2 drugs with for those of us that can not take aspirin based pain relievers?
