Guest guest
First off I want to say how sorry I am that you are having such a difficult time. We all really do understand. Although I am fortunate that I don't have to work at this time, I still have a big job of taking care of 5 kids as a single parent while my husband is deployed to the less desireable part of the planet. If your doctor will prescribe you pain pills then by all means take them. If I didn't have my pain meds I would not be able to get through my day and take care of the kids and all the running around I have to do. Studies have shown that when you control your pain, you get better rest, when you are able to get better rest then your mood is better and when rest and mood are better, pain levels improve. Sorry I don't have the link to the article at the moment. However, I do make sure I take my pain meds on a daily, regular basis and it has helped me more than I can describe. Best of luck to you Mark and please keep us posted. By the way, I know they will often treat with Methotrexate and Remicade together. Have they considered that with you? Maybe it is something you could ask your doctor about. I'm not a doctor but it never hurts to ask.
