Guest guest
hi stephanie! i don't think so. immunity today was set up to sell animune's products. LOL i don't really know how it all works. it was going to be called Transfer Point. and i think i heard another name somewhere along the line too. i would expect when the animune site is completely redone, there will be a list of their products, and a link to immunity today to purchase? i'm just guessing. i don't know if both companies have the same officers, or one or more involved in both ......... <<< Are immunity today and animune one and the same? thanks! >>> @}{~{<<~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ debbie s. - dlsherman@... Guest guest
Thanks Debbie for all you have posted on hhv6 TF. I am going to try it, though I am nervous because you had mentioned running a fever on it, and that is one of my worst symptoms to begin with! So, I will almost definitely start with just one capsule and see how that goes. Thank you!! for all the work you have done for us!
Guest guest
re knee replacements. I need the same advice and information. My chances of getting the new knee are remote at this time because of the broken leg which isn't healing. The DR says the CMT is not helping. The lack of good circulation in the leg from the neuropothy is a big drawback to healing. My brother (CMT) had both ankles fused during the last 3 years. The ankles wouldn't heal so they had an electrical stimulator (don't know if was a TENS or not -- it had another name) on the ankle to help healing. Evidently it did. He had to put in new batteries everyday. I'm guessing the same problem would be present with knee replacement. It seems we can't win on some things. Maybe the stimulator is a possibility for others. Guest guest
Barry-you go guy!!!!! What a crock! Find another DR. It doesn't have to be a specialist. It took my son's girlfriend to talk me into asking my primary care DR for the sticker. She said why of course that should help you a lot. The orthopedist I was seeing at the time would never have suggested such a thing. Find a DR who will help you. You pay these people. PT isn't going to strengthen ankles weakened by CMT. At least I don't think so. I see lots of people using these when a family member who got the sticker isn't even in the car. Makes me want to ticket them. I'd be glad to give anyone my sticker if I could have their strong legs!

Absolutely I'm an O, non-secretor . I gained about 90 pounds 10 years ago when I was forced to be on prednisone after an ugly bout with viral pneumonia. I have tried many things since and have not been able to shed much at all. Prior to that episode, I usually walked 4-6 miles 3-5 times a week and danced 3 hours a week and was generally very active. After the pneumonia, I was left with wheezing and reactive airway disease and had difficulty walking any distance for many many months. Then I moved to Austin, Texas, the allergy capital of the world and spent 5 years with a chronic sinus infection. That's when I found ER4YT. The stone root saved me from the sinus infections and staying off wheat, dairy, corn and potatoes seemed to regulate my symptoms. I moved from Texas to Montana and have worked 13-18 hours a day for the last two years. Now I'm in Missouri, not working, looking to move to St. Louis and trying to get back to some exercise. My lungs and allergies are under control most of the time but the weight thing hasn't changed. Sheila
Guest guest
Dear All, I have a question for you all on Flatback. I am a 19 year old with Cerebral Palsy which lead to severe scoliosis in 1997. I had surgery when that school year was over (surgery date 6/11/98). The surgery was a posterior approach from T3 down using laque rods and some additional wires. Over the years I've still had a fair amount of pain but it increased last summer to the point where I could no longer stand it. I began massage therapy at the PT place I chose to treat some problems stemming from my CP. The massages have helped my back greatly, however lately I am not getting as much " mileage " out of each one as i used to. Some of the symptoms you all describe of flatback sound like what i experience painwise. Can you make me a list of symptoms perhaps and tell me if this would appear on x-ray? I have my regular annual ones Tuesday as it happens so any help would be appreciated.
Guest guest
... It's possible that you have flatback, but not terribly likely. The symptoms that I hear from people with flatback are very similar to those that I had from having a significant lumbar curve. There's a great article on flatback at: http://www.spineuniverse.com/conditions/dp_022101bridwell_fix_sag_imbal.html If you've got it, it will be very evident from your x-ray. The > symptoms that I hear from people with flatback are very similar to those > that I had from having a significant lumbar curve. There's a great > article on flatback at: <snip> Thanks for that link, . I had flatback before my surgery in 1999. My surgeon said they see a lot of that in people who had previous fusions. I'm not sure if it's due to the techniques they were using back then or what. I'm hoping it's not due to just general wear and tear or aging, b/c I hope to never go through the surgical process again. My lumbar spine was literally flat, and I had no range of motion in it. I accepted this (the range of motion part) as part of the fusion process, that I would never again be able to flex my lumbar spine nor bend from the waist nor twist, etc. I was able to compensate for this in other ways. But when it got flat, to where I couldn't stand up straight, and it got painful, I knew something was terribly wrong. After I had the recent surgery, I was amazed to find that I now have motion in my lumbar area--to me this is a miracle! I still can't bend from my waist, nor twist from side to side, but I can actually flex my lower back a bit, which I'd resigned myself would never happen again. I took it as a bonus of the surgery--if he had only gotten me straighter and taken away the pain, that would have been enough for me. To actually have some movement back there is just gravy. D. I have not seen any reference to marijuana being a cure for anything. I can say that I have used it during treatment for hepatitis C. Guest guest
Hello-- Having read an article on neurofeedback, and having seen a demonstration by a friend who was using it, I became very interested. However, he had invested $11,000 in his equipment and a couple of thousand in his training, and I couldn't afford that. I did some surfing on the internet, and couldn't understand why the BM was only $1125, if it wasn't inferior to the other equipment. I couldn't get a straight answer by asking either, because everybody just said that what I really needed was whatever they were selling. I bought a videotape course, which turned out to be worthless for my purpose. Then I bought an internet correspondence course, which answered my questions. I knew then that I could settle for 2 channels, and didn't need 19. I then attended a training in Dallas, where they tried to sell me a $6,000 machine (including a discount for buying it right then.) I happened to have a training partner who was already doing a practice with a BM, who negated all the put downs they made toward BM. He convinced me that I would do perfectly well spending $1125 on a BM, plus a couple of hundred on an impedance tester, and I bought a computer with two video cards for $400 by mail order from DIT. I think an adult who is using it for himself can do without the two video cards, and just use a single monitor. I also think the portable unit, which appears to be from Asia, and costs $800 and doesn't need a computer, would do as well, and would serve as a starter for self-treatment. I think it's called Pocket Neurobics. There are two units for the same price, and with different features. I would choose the one that does HEG, though I don't actually know how to use it. You might want to do a Google search, and look at some of the websites. There's no such thing as magic, but if you have a clear goal in mind, it might serve a reasonable purpose. Relaxation, yes. Disciplined or confident -- depends on what the problem was at first. Somebody in the news reported that increasing Theta had improved her artistic ability. Since I believe that excessive theta is a problem for me, I would personally be reluctant to try that, but it may work for some people. It might be that some reading might be more helpful for some of your goals. I might advise some of those at: http://geocities.com/lmft_99/reading.html. Guest guest
The study on peak performance in muscians was done in England, and used alpha-theta training. It compared the results of alpha-theta to other nfb protocols as well as study in proper body mechanics and other skills I forget right now. The results were striking, all participants videotaped performances before and after the trainings. The only group that had their taped performances rated as much improved was the group that had alpha-theta training. Their were improvements in technical skill, interpretation and presentation. The studies author gave a presentation at iSNR this year. There is a tape of the presentation available form iSNR. Guest guest
Gene For the record .. uh oh . can't control himself..... I believe Pocket Neurobics is in Australia, and while they all stand on their heads there (how do they do that ??) I'm not sure it's Asia. And yes, Virginia, there is inexpensive neurofeedback equipment, but I really do think, at least initially, it takes some guidance! That's speaking from experience .. gosh knows what my head would be like if I didn't have help J.
Guest guest
Responding mostly to Gene ’ post: if you aren’t sure of the effects for yourself from neurofeedback and whether that is what you want and need, why don’t you see a neurofeedback therapist for a few sessions before you go ahead and invest in a unit for yourself? I have had over twenty sessions before I finally made the decision that a home unit was obviously the way to go for me economically since I want what this does for me! You could read all day what it does for someone ELSE, or how it is supposed to benefit the individual, and in what fashion, but all of that can be very nebulous. I just got my Brainmaster basic for under $800, and my therapist is going to work with me to help learn how to use it. I can’t go for more than 3 days w/o a session w/o missing the effects. I get more impatient. I am less organized, things don’t run smoothly. I can’t keep track of time or schedules. Good luck figuring out what it means to you. –Beverly Drottar Re: Re: heart math > > Thank you for your post and suggestion,There less likely to answer my > questions.Isn't that what this group is for as a community to share info. > > I'm looking for personal experience. > > It seems extremely difficult to get people to tell me what personal benefits > people have derived from biofeedback. > > What gives why cant someone answer this simple question. > > I' don't have ADD and I simply want to see if its worth buying a device and > learning how to use it. > > I would like unbiased information to see how worthwhile it is for me. > > So can some people let me know what biofeedback has done for them perfectly, > > Has it made people more relaxed, disciplined, confident, motivated, intuitive > relaxed, > etc. > > Thanks for any benefits, goals it may have helped you achieved you can share > with us. > > I have a few questions here so I ask those here to answer whatever they have > time too. > > Im interested in Biofeedback, potential power of the mind, peak performance > including using any technological devices to assist in tapping the > unconscious and altered states of consciousness, getting in touch with the > right side of brain for more intergration to tap into my intuition and to > have more creativity. > > I would like to know what are the practical benefits for adults who want to > use it for peak performance, personal growth, more discipline, eating > healthier, and to treat mild OCD.Please let me know if you think these > devices would be helpful? > > .I want to be the best I can be in all areas of my life.I do not have any > learning problems and get along well in life and enjoy myself.I am > interested in further self development. > > I am considering buying a neurofeedback machine to use my Right brain more > be more intuitive, stop worrying and thinking so much, get in touch with the > unconscious, not make compulsive decisions, maintain boundaries, make better > business decisions, eat healthier.Do you think using a biofeedback device > would be helpful in achieving these goals. > > Is it dangerous for someone to use the neuro devices without much > training? How much training do you need to start to use biofeedback on your > own if any? > > What would be the best device to start with? > > Any information you could offer would be appreciated you can post here or > email me directly. > > Also of interest is anyone who lives in the Los Angeles area who works in > any of these areas and gives a demonstration of any products, services etc. > > Do you think Light and sound machines are very helpful?do they do anything.I > had one a few years ago.I didn't really notice much?? > > What do you think is better heartmath or Light and sound machines or > biofeedback. > > What have been the experience of others here? What are the benefits of > biofeedback? Why do people on this group practice it. > What have you personally reieved from the practice. > > Do you think Light and Sound machines are very helpful?or are they alot of > hype? > > Thanks, > > JJ > P.S.I looked at Len Ochs site he has biofeedback devices that do something > with electrical fields?Anyone know if that is helpful or if his devices are > better than other neurofeedback devices? > Groups Links · To visit your group on the web, go to: / ·
Guest guest
http://.com/seed/alfalfa.html for more info. Alfalfa is normally a 5-6 day crop. Normal being relative to how warm it is where you live. Tomorrow (day four), you being with greening. Being in the kitchen is fine for this, assuming you spend some time in there with the light on, or at least a little bit of light comes in through the window. Do read what has to say about alfalfa. They are pretty thorough. > From: " Missslady " <missslady@...> > Subject: Alfalfa Seeds > Hi > > I just want to share -- i've sprouted my very first > batch of alfalfa > seed. Guest guest
Hi everyone. I have been taking the MMS for about 5 days now. On the 3rd day I was up to 8 drops and I took that on a slightly empty stomach. Nausea, no vomiting, lasting 4-6 hours. So I dropped down to 4 drops the next day and now I'm up to seven drops, feeling ok right now, still going to increase 1 drop per dose. Anyway, peace
