Would be great if you didn't have CMT.
Guest guest
I had a nerve and muscle biopsy when I was about 15 I think. Both upper and lower leg - but only the left leg. That was about 1967 and it required a overnight or two in the hospital. I was given a local anesthetic for it and I was awake the whole time. They Drs. put mirrors above me so I could watch and it was interesting. It didn't take very long at all. But the incisions were deep and required stitches, then I had to change the dressings on my leg several times a day. But didn't need crutches or a wheelchair, could walk, left leg just somewhat stiff for a few weeks. The result was 'negative'. Now, negative for what I don't know. I think the Drs. were looking for more than 1 thing at that time. On the scope of having 'procedures' done, it was probably one of the easiest and least painful of all.~ G
