Guest guest
Hi Ann, I don't post much to the group but fclt I had to when it comes to diet and MS. I'm 50 and have had MS for over 25 years, yes initially I went through copaxone and Rebif and after dealing with side effects took it upon myself to decide what works for me. I've taken the Swank diet and modified it somewhat, I eat no red meat I stick to chicken and fish with lots of fresh vegtables and fruits. Yes I do consume skim milk and whole wheat bread, but no eggs only egg whites. Another vital part of my managment is excerise at least 5 morning per week along with daily sunshine (vit. D) I'm sill working on my meditation skills, but thats coming along. As many of us have heard before you've got to keep a positive attitude, the glass is always half full! This works for my lifestyle, hope everyone is having a great weekend!
