Guest guest
Does anyone else have wonky blood pressure? I'm within my weight category, don't have diabetes or HBP normally. But lately, my heart rate and BP seems to shoot up out of nowhere. And I SWEAT!! It's like I stepped out of the shower, my hair is drenched. Other times, it's like my BP bottoms out and I feel like I'm going to pass out or freeze to death. I'm on Arava, Pred., Sudilac, Cymbalta and Synthroid. Today it happened about 30 minutes after taking my meds. My heart started racing and I felt really lightheaded. Is this a normal side effect? I will keep track of this and see if there is a pattern. Guest guest
It is probably the arava. I had the same problem. My normal BP is about 100/60. After being on arava for a couple of months I had to stop it. My BP was hoovering in the 140/90 range. I could not walk up the steps without having to stop and rest and my heart was racing at any activity. It started out only happening occasionally but progressed to to being elevated all the time. After a month or so of being off arava my BP was back in my 100/60 range. linda > From: ldydewinter04 <ldydewinter@...> > Subject: [ ] wonky BP? > > Date: Saturday, March 14, 2009, 11:27 AM > Does anyone else have wonky blood pressure? Guest guest
I took my kids to a museum yesterday and had to leave because I was completely drenched in sweat. When I got home my BP was stage two hypertension! I have never had BP over 180/35 and that was when I was pregnant! I'm hoping it's the Arava and not the Orencia. I just want to find the right mix of medicine to get on with my life!! I've been off work now for two weeks since the hand-swelling episode. kelly your right it could be the arava..I have heard others with same problem.. diane in ohio ________________________________ From: ldydewinter <ldydewinter@ <mailto:ldydewinter%40comcast.net> comcast.net> @gro <mailto: %40> ups.com Sent: Saturday, March 14, 2009 9:26:49 PM Subject: RE: [ ] wonky BP?
