Humira, painful shots

Hi all,

For those that are on the Humira pen shots, is anyone having any problems with

the shots being very, very painful? I have tried it in my stomach and today did

my thigh. ARGH!! The stomach shots hurt bad enough, so today when I did the

thigh, I put an icepack on.

Not sure what else to do. I have a prescription lanocaine ointment, could I

numb the skin with that before alcohol wiping it and doing the shot? Any other

ideas?
