Guest guest
Yes, I think MS is a catch-all phrase. There are too many different symptoms involved that can be individually diagnosed. Like pain can be called fibromyalgia, lesions can be called multiple sclerosis. The question is why do you have lesions, what caused the immune response? Myelin can repair itself with some help. If free-radicals cause the immune response, what causes them to be free-radicals? If you can get further away from electrical appliances and that helps you, then that may be influencing your symptoms. Throw that microwave in the trash! It is not the best way to cook your food. It changes molecular structure of the food. That could be a source of your free radicals, maybe not. You need to find a starting point and expand on that. It could take days, it may take years but not making lifestyle impovements will not lead to recovery. Doing research is a good place to start. > > OK, now I'm going to sound like the ........ > > after looking at my MRI scans alone, no consult yet, a conversation rings in my memory. > > My grandfather (he is now gone) moved his microwave from next to his table because he told me that it was affecting his vision. Guest guest
The most effective substance I have found for the eyes is high dose Cod Liver Oil. I'll say it again.... Greenpastures fermented Cod Liver Oil! This stuff is amazing! You must use therapeutic doses. YES...brand name DOES make a difference. Really, really wonderful stuff for vision and vision issues. Also good for speech issues. Bilberry is also supposed to help with vision. My son couldn't make eye contact and was extremely 'hyper-peripheral' in that he looked out of the 'sides' of his eyes and his central detail vision was shot. This was pretty much a LIFELONG issue. I tried every brand of CLO out there. I wasn't using high enough doses and good enough quality of Cod Liver Oil. Within 2.5 months of using Greenpastures CLO at 25,000 IU of vit A (so....about 5 capsules since there is 5,000 iu in each capsure). His vision issues went away almost completely! (he still has some visual motor issues left with his hands-eye but it's almost completely gone now). No more hyper-peripheral vision and no more walking into walls and no more disorientation. (getting lost all of the time, or turned-around with regards to direction) In addition, you might try 'patching' your left eye every day for about 2-3 hours and doing some near point vision work to strengthen that right eye again. (yes.... we've done most of the therapy through the years too!) Do you notice whether this is a near-point vision issue, far-point or is it all the time. Does lighting make a difference.... Try to really pinpoint where and how the problem is occurring so that you can remediate it. Ball tossing strengthens the eyes in their transition from near point to far point and back again as well. Climbing ladders, brachiation bars, etc. work central detail vision. Pinpoint glasses also help to strengthen the eyes. Personally, we did all of the therapy ``without`` great results. The cod liver oil is what really helped out with the vision.....all of that ``natural`` vitamin A! Guest guest
I use that brand of CLO in liquid form. It's expensive but it's good! I took butter oil for awhile but now I eat raw butter, sometimes ghee. > > The most effective substance I have found for the eyes is high dose Cod Liver Oil. I'll say it again.... Guest guest
Take heart - myelin can regenerate. My neurologist said that Swedish studies prove that taking vitamin B12, 50 mcg day, sublingually, (ie, disslolve the tablet under your tongue), can help repair myelin. You might want to get your blood tested to see if you're low on B12. The Myelin Repair Foundation is doing research on repair. It seems to me if one could close the blood-brain barrier, the body would have a chance to repair at least some of the myelin. I;ve read that cherries and dark fruit like berries help close the barrier. Hope this helps, Swami V.
