Hi .

First, I am so sorry  to read that you have a  diagnosis of Lupus.

Leucovorin is a calcium/folate acid.  I take 2 pills 24 hours after I inject my

MTX.  It helps with nausea etc.  How it works I don't know.  I have been

taking it for 7 years now, each week.  I have taken it successfully with no

side effects.

It is truly a lot to digest when we are hit with any auto immune diseases.  I

was hit hard and fast with my RA and had no idea what it was.  Like you, I was

in shock and could not remember what my Rheumy told me.  I had to call her the

next day so I could wrap my mind around it all.

Just take one day at a time like I do.  That is all I can handle.  I hope you

rest as much as you can.  It does help.

Hugs,

Barbara
