Guest guest
Hello: I just read your post, and I can fully understand what you are going through. Stress causes so many problems for us. I went through similar things with my daughter, from age 13 to a few years ago. She just turned 39. Each surgery stressed me to the max. No mother wants to see her children suffer, with or without surgery. I am praying for your daughter, that she will feel much better soon, and if she has surgery, that that will go well for her. Children bounce back so quickly. I will be praying for the both of you, and that you will feel better soon. Wishing you pain free days, and God Bless you both. Putting Christmas things out can be stressful, especially when things go wrong!!!!! I unpluged my tree the other day, and the whole thing toppled over!!! What a mess, but I finally got it fixed, and didn't break one ornament. How lucky was that!!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family. Hugs, Barbara > > I guess it's my turn to whine and cry again. Guest guest
KD, I hope you and your daughter feel better soon. Sounds like a good time to rent movies and send for take out! If it helps at all, I was hyperstimulated when I was on fertility drugs and had 3 mega cysts. My right ovary basically tried to take over the world and even pushed my uterus into the other side of my body. I had to take a lot of pain meds and wear sweat pants while I waited for my budda belly to subside, but they did go down on their own. Before they do surgery would there be a role for oral contraceptive pills? Sometimes they can use those to shrink cysts. Guest guest
I wish that things were going better for you KD. I also will keep your daughter in my thoughts and prayers. I hope if she needs surgery for it that she has an easy recovery and feels better after the cyst is removed. Guest guest
Thanks so much Kate ... the doc said that at this point the bc pills wouldn't do much because it was so large when she saw her last week. We are definitely doing take out and I have bought her 2 new pair of sweats so that she still feels good in them ... ya know, not the same ole grungy ones. Thanks again! Guest guest
KD, First of all I hope you're feeling better today. Mtx CAN make you weak just as you described. Not enough people realize that some of our symptoms come from the meds. Please do your research yourself on everything that goes in your body because even though they can help with one thing they can also make very sick in another way. Flu like aching is misereable. I've had that for over 40 years, but it's from fibromyalgia, etc.... Yesterday I was misereable, especially last night. My feet up to just over the knees and my hips and hands ached horribly. I took 2 Aleeves and wrapped my legs in a heating pad and eventually it calmed down enough that I could go to sleep. Anyway, just be careful. I hope all will be well with your daughter. I had a large ovarian cycst when I was 24 and it was extremely painful and was removed surgically. Thinking of you and your daughter with warm gentle hugs, Stella > > I guess it's my turn to whine and cry again.
