Guest guest
Hi Lori, Have your doc remove the polyp in his office. The rest can be done later. Tami kenalog injections can someone explain to me what these kenalog injections are ... do you get them injected into the polyps? has anybody ever had these or other injections into their polyps? I absolutely can't have surgery right now and I'm getting married in August and I really don't want this gross polyp hanging out of my nose as it almost is right now. I'd like to just have it temporarily smaller until I can have surgery again. I don't think I'm going to be able to avoid the surgery this time all together. Thanks Lori

It wasn't too bad so long as you didn't think about it. I got them to help reduce swelling in my sinuses. It kinda helped. As to having the polyp removed, if it is where you say it is, the ENT probably can give you a shot of novacaine and snip it out. I had a mole just inside one nostril (if you can believe it!) and the ENT just snipped it out, gave me a couple of stitches, and sent me to work. Hope this helps. -
Guest guest
Hi Kami. Nice to see you posting again. I don't know what that is. If it is a steroid, then yes, I have had them in all those places, plus in my back. I didn't need anyone with me. If this is not a steroid, I hope someone here can answer your question.  Take care.  Hugs,  Barbara From: ~Kami~ <kamilleon@...> Subject: [ ] Kenalog Injections " " < > Date: Monday, May 3, 2010, 7:51 AM  Has anyone had Kenalog injections to their elbow, knees, or ankles? How bad are they? Is this something that I would need someone to tag along to the doctor's office with me? Kami
