Guest guest
Yes I had that on both elbows for about a year. When the MTX kicked in they disappeared and stop back to visit now and then. Actually at one point not only did both elbows look like golf balls on them I had an additional bum the size of a golf ball a few inches down my arm ... now that was really wild. but they all disappeared in time with the meds. Good Luck and I hope you have the same results.
Guest guest
I do not have fluid filled elbows but as an RN would say that your bursa are full of fluid. Shame on your Doc for blowing you off like that. Please demand some attention or treatment or find another attentive doc. ellen EL You don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing. Guest guest
Like , I've too have had them come and go. At this time, I have on on my left elbow the size of a pea. I can live with that. When I ask my doctor about getting rid of them (as w/all my lumps and bumps) he tells me it won't help as they just come back. The right meds do help most of the time. Guest guest
Well so far the Enbrel isn't getting rid of them and neither did the Arava. Also taking Minocin. Guess my body is stubborn. > > > > Yes I had that on both elbows for about a year. When the MTX kicked in they disappeared and stop back to visit now and then. Guest guest
Thanks EL, Yes I am aware its fluid on the bursa I just wonder why my doc doesn't think its a big deal. Its really not bothersome to me, its just an eyesore more than anything. My main concern is will the fluid cause any damage being there long term. Its already the first thing on my list when I see the rheumy again. > > I do not have fluid filled elbows but as an RN would say that your bursa > are full of fluid.
