Well, you have come to the right place. Welcome to our wonderful group.

Sorry to read that you have RA too. Also too young to have this awful

disease.

I am 69, diag. 5 years ago when RA reared its ugly head. I have a

wonderful Rheumy, and doing well on all my RA meds. My flares are

longer in between, and shorter in duration.

I look forward to chatting with you. Wishing you pain free days ahead.

I care.

hugs,

Barbara

You've come to the right place, southernangell. This group has been a Godsend

for me. There is lots of info and lots of people who are going through the same

thing you are. Please feel free to ask a specific question or post a rant if you

are frustrated. We've all been there/done that/bought the t-shirt. You're not

alone.

Also - could you let us know your first name? We're all friends here.

Doreen :)

Hi,

Welcome. You will find this group to be extremely supportive and

knowledgelable. I am 31 and I was diagnosed with RA when I was 24. It's hard,

espeically when you are diagnosed so young. You can't keep up with friends, you

have to pace yourself, etc. I just want to let you know that you are going to

be OK, you hav come to right place.

What helps me is seeing a therapist. One of things that she told me and I have

shared this with the group a many of times is that pain, fatigue are just

feelings; it does not define you and make who you are. We are here.

If you would like to chat or anything, I tend to be available on facebook. Give

me a hollar anytime.
