I have sleeping pills, but I just don't like taking them all the time. Thanks for the support, it means so much. My family, what I have left, is torn to bits now. I just don't know how to fix this one. Only time will tell, I suppose. Guest guest
Forgot to add this!!!! I have terrible insomnia - I take 1/2 - 1 ambien to go to sleep which never seems to happen until about 12:00-12:30 then I ALWAYS wake up at 2;30-3:00. It sucks - sorry for sounding a bit crude but that is the only word that will fit! I usually take ANOTHER 1/2 just so I can sleep a couple hours more. I don't have a sleeping disorder - just unrelenting pain. I'm sorry - not trying to complain! Take care, in SC ltdavis_jrdavis@... Guest guest
, You don't get a little crazy, after waking up? I take ambien too, and if I don't get to bed right away, and get to sleep, let's say, I go CRAZY! I have been really wild, lol I do know how you feel about the pain keeping you up. It's just so hard to sleep comfortable in a bed. So, I just stay up, until I'm so tired, I finally go to sleep. This morning, I was so sleepy, I was dizzy, lack of sleep I'm sure. We have so much to deal with, Tawny --- In , <ltdavis_jrdavis@...> wrote: > > Forgot to add this!!!! Guest guest
Oh yes my dear - it drives me NUTS! However, usually if after tossing & turning - I still can't go back to sleep - I just get up, drink a glass of milk (ice cold!!) and watch a chick flick until my eyelids get droopy - sometimes that is close to 5-6:00 am but I am fortunate enough that I don't HAVE to work anymore----- so I can nap later in the day if I am too fatigued which is MOST days anyway. Shoot, I could never do what I use to do career wise so I am so blessed! (I used to be the General Mgr of a Mall - did that for 26 yrs).....Don't think I could continue w/ getting on roofs for inspections as well as a long list of other required duties! Yeah - RA changes your life but it is only what you choose to make it. I as many others or should I say most others??? You go with the flow and just re-write your life as it comes - You can't waste the day worrying about yesterday or else you have wasted today and you can never get today back. I love your positive attitude w/ all of the adversities that you have been going thru.........We all love you! ltdavis_jrdavis@... Guest guest
I do know about those droopy eyelids:( We do have it nice though, I don't have to work either, so I am blessed. We have some members here, that have to still get their weary bodies up, and try to manage to get through their day. I don't know how they do it, but they deserve a recognition day of their own. After awhile, we just tolerate the illness. You have to get your life back, no matter how it hurts, or what it looks like. I didn't think I would ever get over the diagnosis, but it happened, slowly. We have to be strong through all of this, and we don't have to do it alone, we have each other, and that is what it takes. , just keep being who you are, cause your a star in my eyes. You try to get a nap, and hope you get a pain free night. Take care, Tawny --- In , <ltdavis_jrdavis@...> wrote: > > Oh yes my dear - it drives me NUTS! Guest guest
Thanks so much You are too kind. If I can just help one person feel better, then it helps me. Being here is a honor, and I hope to be here for a long time. I have been to sick to be on the group, so now is my chance, since I'm feeling better. We all take turns, but there is always someone here to give comfort and support, that is what it's all about. We've been having lots of storms here. I love the rain, but the storms can go on the other way. I have dish network, and it usually kicks it out every time. I am very careful, and have a basement, so I don't have to go far. Thanks for caring about me, it's so sweet. Oh, were getting a cool front in next week, in the 90's,lol I guess, I'll take anything at this point. I go out only when I have to right now. I do everything in the wee hours. You take care, and I hope to have a good sleep. I wish you a good night sleep too, Take care, Tawny --- In , <ltdavis_jrdavis@...> wrote: > > You are soooo sweet and thoughtful - you are going thru so many trials & tribulations and you STILL think of others! Guest guest
Tawny - I pray you realize just how supportive, caring and loving you are, as well as treasured, too. I agree that this group is the best thing to have come along for me. NO ONE knows more than us what we go through on a daily basis and its so comforting to know that we can come here and rant, vent, chat, compare, be silly or whatever else we need to be/do and are accepted and loved in return. Wishing you better days ahead. Keeping you in my prayers.....Doreen > > , > > I was wondering about you.
