We all know that the media shows us images of unrealistic bodies, bodies that don't exist in nature - but wow! this surprised me.This site is a digital portfolio of a guy's work, but it might just as well be about how even naturally gorgeous people are airbrushed and digitally "enhanced".The link is for the woman in the bikini, but even the man in the sweater is not immune to the art director's scrutiny.http://homepage. mac.com/gapodaca /digital/ bikini/bikini1. html

I think the re-touched photo looks better. I have become to expect a

certian type of unreal perfection I guess. Our standards are

ridiculously high and unrealistic. Part of my problem is that I have

bought into them. I try to avoid certain magazines to avoid the

perfection. If it bothers me I try not to look.
