Guest guest
How many of us on here are seropositive? And if you are where are you at in the disease?
Guest guest
I was seropositive when the rheumy had the first blood work done on me. That was in August 2001, when I was diagnosed with RA. Later, he repeated the CRP and Sed rate to see how I was progressing, and both had returned to normal. (This was even pre-Enbrel; it was Arava that achieved this.) He said the RF test was not as good an indicator of disease progress, so it has not been done again. Guest guest
Hi , Like Sue, I was RF+ when first diagnosed 25 years ago and because this test is not a good indicator of disease progression, it has never been repeated. Even when I moved from the UK to France, my new rheumy accepted the diagnosis and didn't think it was worth wasting money repeating the test. n in France Re: [ ] INFO - on rheumatoid factor (RF) How many of us on here are seropositive?
