how long do your flares last?

Mine has been going on since last Wednesday. I got a steroid IV and it

got a little better. I also have low dose of prednisone daily. But it

might be the weather... but now it's getting worse again. I'm waiting

on insurance approval for Orencia. It is normal to have a flare last

for 5 days? My hands are still swelling off and on. The pain is like

a toothache that doesn't quite ever go away.

I feel like this disease has turned me into a high maintaince, whiney,

weepy old lady!!

Sorry to read you are having a bad flare with so much pain and

suffering. I hope you can start on the Orencia soon. I know it is not

fun having so much pain and suffering. I guess a flare can be long or

short. Hopefully, you will be out of your flare soon.

Pain is so debilitating. Hard to do anything while having a bad flare.
