Guest guest
I have been having headaches the last year or so, coinciding with when I started having a really bad flare of RA. They went away for about 3 months when I was feeling better and then started again when I started Remicade. I just finished my third infusion and had a bit of a headache when I started. 10 minutes into the infusion, the left side of my head was killing me. I had headaches after both prior infusions lasting 2 or 3 days around my left eye. So I guess I have 2 questions: Anyone else have headaches associated with RA in general? None of my doctors thought they had anything to do with it, but I never had headaches in my life. They seemed to start when I was weaning off prednisone for a flare. Anyone else get headaches associated with Remicade and if so, what do you do about it. I don't want to quit, but I don't want headaches either. Guest guest
Hi I have headaches related to my RA, they start as a dull ache and build up to the point i can no longer think or function, my doctor said they were coming off the inflammation in my neck and shoulders, unfortunately mines built up until i developed further complications in my neck, but thats another story I put an ice pack over my eyes and lie down for a wee while, in the absence of ice i go into a dark room and lie, i can always tell when one is coming on and no longer try to battle through it as it will only get worse and worse, the sooner i rest the sooner it goes! Hope this helps Sharon xx ________________________________ From: lexi7434 <spine_97@...> Sent: Friday, 3 July, 2009 3:54:56 Subject: [ ] Advice: headaches and Remicade I have been having headaches the last year or so, coinciding with when I started having a really bad flare of RA.
