Guest guest
, I don't know better check with the doctor. I will say that I have leg cramps on the outer side of my legs - (not the calf muscle) and the left side of my neck and they have checked it and I have been told is the RA. It comes and goes but when it comes it really hurts. It is like a Charlie Horse on the side of my legs. Getting checked out - I did. Hope he has less pain? Guest guest
Yes he does have diabetes.....caused from the Prograff that Joe was on as a treatment for the RA. He has not responded to other traditional drug therapys...including IV infusions. He is now insulin dependent. The doctor said that’s a side effect From: OKD Sent: Thursday, February 17, 2011 9:54 AM Subject: [ ] Re: HELP!!! Terrible leg muscle cramping Hi : Does your husband have circulation problems? Diabetes? Peripheral Vascular Disease? These are some causes of leg cramping, as well as lack of calcium. I hope it goes away, those can be sooo painful. Guest guest
Hi - I used to have horrible leg cramps and my old Rheumy told me to sip 8 ozs diluted Tonic Water with Quinine throughout the day. I thought he was nuts, but it really worked for me. I mixed about 1/3 TW to 2/3 diet soda or juice and it worked like a dream. Sipped it all day. I had to apologize to my old Rheumy for me thinking he was nuts. If you are worried about the Quinine, ask your Rheumy. That super small amount gave me no ill affects and made my life better. Few things are more attention-grabbing than a lightening bolt like pain in your leg. Hope that helps Joe. Blessings, in SC
Guest guest
I'm not taking a diuretic. Your advice is consistent with what I've already been told. So I am not going to take that potassium I bought by mistake.
