Guest guest
Wow, Joyce, that's amazing. That's about the same time I had mine done! A screw sticking out - ewwwwwww how painful. Isn't it amazing how closley connected that 2 people thousands of miles apart had the same thing done at almost the same time? This disease is very unique. And absolutely, I can deal with the stiffness rather than the pain. Sometimes when I had the pain in my wrist, I'd hit my knees. Nae > > > Hi Nae > About 12 years ago I had a full left wrist replacement. then just a year after that I had my right wrist fused. The left wrist replacement lasted for about 7 years then it all seemd to fall apart.I actually had a screw sticking up out the back of my hand..lol. Anyway the ortho surgeon done the same as what you had done with the plates screws and bone grafts. But the bone graft didnt work so I had to have it done again and that was fine.It has been ok ever since ....like you having stiff wrists is a bit of a pain but better than being in pain..lol. > Love Joyce ..uk
