Sooooo True!  Your mind thinks it old times and bam!  I always do that on

the  weekends I think I can do it and ruin the rest of the  weekend.

Relearning  limits are hard and hard on the ego too.

If you EVER have that impulse again, go straight to bed until it goes away!

Besides, it sets a bad precedent for the rest of us. LOL

Hi .

I sure do know what you mean.  If I did something I really wanted to do, I

would be done in by the end of the day, and spend the next 3 days in bed to

recover.  My Rheumy told me I had to pace myself, and that was very hard for me

to learn and do.  She also insists I rest each day no matter what.  Such is

our lives with RA.

I hope you have recovered and feeling much better.

Hugs,

Barbara

thanks. feeling better after resting yesterday.

This morning I got an email from a friend whose son needs a bone marrow

transplant and she is asking everyone she knows to register. Even if they don't

find a match for her son, they may find matches for other people in need. I went

to the registration page, and I can't register because I have RA! Another RA

blow, to realize that we aren't considered healthy enough to help others in need

in such an easy way.

Sometimes we just have to do things we know we shouldn't just to prove that we

still can or at least I do-knowing that I will probably pay later.  It feels so

good to accomplish some of the things that I once did and thought nothing about

doing it then-now it is hard work and it hurts and usually takes 10 times as

long.   Hey but at least I'm still alive and trying.  linda

Go !

I pay for what I do too. We all do. But I want to live until I am actually

dead. The list of things I can do is on a MUCH smaller scale these days. But I

still want to accomplish something each day, no matter how insignificant it may

seem. It's my way of fighting back. It helps.

Gentle hugs to all-- in SC
