Hi !

I am about an hour north of burg near Pottsville.

Had you asked me 2 years ago, I would have said our weather here is ideal! Add

RA to the mix, and our weather sucks! LOL When we are well into a season, the

weather is great. The first month of season changes SUCK because it can be 80

and sunny one day and 55 and freezing the next. It really wreaks havoc on the

body at times. This past winter wasn't TOO bad in my opinion. I stayed in! You

kind of learn what to do/what not to do during certain weather changes when you

have RA. Then again, everyone is different. Some don't have any issues with it

at all. I know my problems are cold and wind.

I have never been to Vegas but can only imagine that the warmth would be much

better for RA unless it is humid there.... Humidity KILLS my RA.

When were you diagnosed? Have you started treatment?

KAMI...

What part of PA do you live in? My parents live in the burg area and

they tell me the weather is fairly mild since they are protected from a lot of

the " bad " weather since they live in a valley-do you know anything about this?

You see I currently live in Wisconsin and I recently found out I have RA...and

before I know it the LONG, COLD, SNOWY Wisconsin winter will arrive and I am

sure afraid of how I will feel. My husband's family lives in Las Vegas, NV and

mine is in PA...so we want to move to either one of those places-just so long as

we move away from the dreadfully cold state of Wisconsin.....so any input on PA

would help me in my decision! Thanks!
