Guest guest
I don't see a new rheumy for a couple more weeks. I'm excited to see what his recommendation will be. The mtx made me sick to my stomach but the biggest complaint I had with it was it knocked me unconscious for DAYS after I took it. If I needed to get up for something it was like my brain wasn't connected to my muscles. At times I literally could not stand up! It was scary. Guest guest
Hi Candace.     I know these meds. act differently on each person here. That is a terrible way for you to feel. I hope you like your Rhuemy, and are able to discuss these side effects with him/her. I had to switch from the MTX pills to the injection form. Those pills made me deathly sick to my stomach 24/4. I could only stand that for a few weeks. The shot agrees with me so much better.     Good luck with your Rheumy appt.  Hugs,  Barbara From: Candace Podratz <candaceandbrock@...> Subject: Re: [ ] Re: Update " " < > Date: Thursday, July 1, 2010, 2:31 PM  I don't see a new rheumy for a couple more weeks. Guest guest
Hi, Not to make you feel bad, but I thought 11mm was usually considered moderate. It seems different orthos have different classification schemes. Good luck! Is it? It doesn't look mild and she has forehead bossing(?), flat side and misaligned ears. They only did one measurement. Is that normal to not measure the ear alignment? They both poo poo'd banding over 12 months but will let me have a helmut anyway. She will be 17 months by the time it's made. She is 6 weeks premature and he did say she had a small head for a child her age (I'm assuming adjusted at that), so she might benefit more than the average 17 month old. Insurance denied coverage even though I read it was in their policy. It will cost me 1800. I was thinking about getting a sticker that said something like, 'Like my cool helmut? Help me by donating a payment at www.com' or something. Or would that be tacky? :/ I have been complaining for awhile now and when I finally put my foot down it was still another 3 month wait. If I only knew now what I didn't then :/ Kim

Guest guest
He is really busy. He only wants to see our boys every few months now. I was always nervous they wouldn't return our calls for an appointment. It is strange though since I think he likes children. One big thing! He is very anti helmet. He saw 's helmet on the first appointment, and after that we took it off before the appointment and combed 's hair. I'd try Judy Ann in the meantime. Good luck! Kathy On 9/15/2010 8:33 PM, critter lover wrote:  Well.. Guest guest
Hi all, I haven't written since I became pregnant, but would read the daily posts. How I left off before getting pregnant is that I have some sort of autoimmune inflamatory disorder which caused dry eyes, joint pain, swelling in wrists and fingers, psoriasis of nails, tenosynovitis of hands and wrists, nodules on toes and fingers and all over achiness that felt like a fever but did not have one, also a thyroid goiter and nodules on thyroid and swollen lymph nodes on neck. Mind you all bloodwork is coming back seronegative. The RA dr. put me on mobic (didn't help), cellebrex (helped but couldn't continue due to my GERDs acting up) then finally plaquenal (which may have helped after 3 or 4 months, however, turned out I got pregnant then). All symptoms went away during this pregnancy. My face is thin and neck, I look great. My fingers have shrunk and rings are falling off. I lost 5 pounds and during the pregnancy (now in the 9th month have only gained 10 pounds). The baby is textbook perfect and a great size and developing perfectly. My concerns are after the pregnancy. I look and feel myself. My metabolism is normal again and joints feel awesome. I am afraid what is going to happen afterwards. I have read it all comes back and usually with a vengence and it makes me depressed to look forward to this again. I plan to try to breastfeed the baby. Any input would be great or advice. Thanks
Guest guest
Hi .  It was so nice to read your post today. I am thrilled you are feeling so wonderful during your pregnancy. I am glad you look good too. That is all so wonderful for you.  I don't know anything about RA returning after you have your baby. I sure hope it does not.  Having a baby is wonderful, and I hope each day you enjoy each moment together.  Hugs,  Barbara BARBARA From: <anelica1016@...> Subject: [ ] Update Date: Friday, April 1, 2011, 7:20 AM  Hi all, I haven't written since I became pregnant, but would read the daily posts.
